About Us

We’re Brandon Nicholls and Colin McGrath, the owners of Zamco Technologies and Lost River Fabrication. Our journey started in 2016 when we purchased Brandon’s late father’s powder coating business in Middleton and began building Zamco into what it is today. As customer needs expanded, we launched Lost River Fabrication in 2018 to handle custom metalwork. Together, our two companies allow us to take projects from raw steel all the way through fabrication and finishing, all under one roof.

At Zamco, powder coating is our craft. From one-off projects to high-volume production runs, we deliver durable, consistent finishes that bring both protection and style to metal parts and products. Our customers count on us not just for a great look, but for coatings that last.

How We Work

We believe finishing is just as important as fabrication. That is why Zamco combines industry-leading equipment with careful attention to detail at every step. Whether we are coating large architectural pieces, industrial equipment, or custom parts, we focus on precision, consistency, and fast turnaround times.

And with Lost River Fabrication next door, we can offer a seamless process: design, build, and coat without ever leaving our campus.

Our Team

When we began, Zamco had just three employees. Today, across Zamco and Lost River, we are a team of more than 30 working across three adjacent buildings. We have built a culture around collaboration, safety, and pride in what we do because we know the finish is only as strong as the people behind it.
